Dissolution: Crossover Hardcore From México, City.
Dissolution is a crossover hardcore band from Mexico City, formed in late 2024 in the aftermath of several local bands disbanding within the scene (Pactum, Vómito Nuclear, Rot, G.P.K. DEA & others). Rising from that moment of transition, the group channels the raw urgency and aggression of crossover, blending hardcore intensity with thrash-driven energy.
In a short time, Dissolution has established a clear identity within the underground. Their sound reflects both the legacy of classic crossover and the current evolution of hardcore, rooted in the DIY ethos of Mexico City’s scene.
The band debuted with their first demo, “La guerra que no empezamos” (2025), a release that captures their early direction: raw, direct, and compromising. Building on that foundation, Dissolution followed up with their self-titled EP, “Dissolution” (2026), showcasing a tighter, more refined sound while maintaining their aggressive edge.
