ENGLISH:
Formed in 1993 in the city of Puebla, the band’s original lineup featured Ulises Guerrero (drums), Mario Domínguez (vocals), Ignacio Casillas (guitar), and Rodolfo García (bass). This incarnation lasted only a few rehearsals, as Nacho and Rodolfo soon departed. They were later replaced by Claudia Hugues (bass), Omar González (guitar), and Carlos Echegaray (guitar). In same year, the band recorded their first demo, “Dark Age”, consisting of an intro and four tracks: “Intro (Dark Age)”, “Kingdom of Darkness”, “Confussion”, “Without Divine Absolution”, and “Disgrace of God” (demo currently lost).
After performing at various venues, the band was selected through a PACMIC-sponsored initiative to record two songs in a professional studio for a compilation. The result was the cassette “De lo Subterráneo”, featuring seven bands from Puebla, to which they contributed “Intro (Dark Age)”, “Kingdom of Darkness”, and “Confussion”. Following several live appearances, the lineup shifted again: Carlos exited the band and was replaced by Raxz Slim. At this stage, the band began actively seeking record labels, distributing their demo to fanzines, media outlets, and promoters.
In February 1995, they were invited to open a show in Puebla for Inmolation, Incantation, and Acid Bath (USA), alongside Phyphogertum (Mexico). Two video recordings exist from this performance: the official footage includes “Confussion”, while a second recording captures both “Without Divine Absolution” and “Confussion”. Shortly afterward, Mario left the band, reducing them to a quartet, with Omar taking over both vocals and guitar duties.
Between 1995 and 1996, they recorded a second demo, “The Race of the Burning Lands”, featuring five tracks: “The Race of the Burning Lands”, “From My Tomb”, “Without Mercy”, “When the Heavens Turn to Flames”, and “The Destiny” (still featuring Mario on vocals). Between 1997 and 1998, the band won first place in a competition at the Hard Rock Cafe; from this performance, they recorded their first single, “Deathwish”, later included in the compilation “The Ultimate Mexican Death Vol. 1”. By the end of that year, Claudia had left the band.
In 1999, the band focused on finding a bassist to continue performing and to enter the studio to record their first full-length album. That same year, Paco Coxca joined the lineup. Between 2000 and 2001, the band entered the studio to record nine tracks for their debut full-length: “Horus”, “When Heavens Turn to Flame”, “The Pest House”, “Forged in Flames of Hell”, “Midnight in the Garden of God and Evil”, “Iodolbath”, “Under God’s Wrath”, “The Secret Place”, “The Exquisite Taste of Vengeance”, and “Deathwish”. Upon completing the recordings, the band decided to disband in 2001, and the material remained archived.
In 2012, after several attempts to reunite, the band came together to record three live studio videos for Vile Music. The selected tracks were “Horus”, “Under God’s Wrath”, and “Deathwish”. After this reunion, each member chose to prioritize other projects.
Between 2019 and 2023, Ulises, Omar, and Mario reunited to discuss a new project and the possibility of releasing an album featuring previously unreleased material along with tracks from earlier compilations; however, these plans did not move beyond discussion. Four years later, conversations resumed between Ulises, Raxz, Nacho, and Mario, leading to a renewed effort to continue the project.
In 2024, after an extensive search for a bassist, Edmundo Ramírez joined the band mid-year and has since become an official member. The band is currently rehearsing and in talks with a national label to release an album featuring new material as well as selected tracks from their early periods.
On August 17 of that year, the band made their return to the stage.
In 2025, they are set to finalize several songs before entering the studio to record their debut album, to be released under Diabolius Production, while continuing to promote older material through fanzines, compilations, and radio programs.
Current lineup:
Ulises – Drums
Mario – Vocals
