Six Steps Forward (SSF) is a five-member band from Krakow, whose history dates back to 2012. From the very beginning, the band focused on performing in Poland and abroad, securing their place among the most experienced "core" bands in the country. Over 12 years of activity, the band has evolved with each new release, which can be heard in their music. They transitioned from an old-school sound reminiscent of a mix between Terror and Comeback Kid to a modern combination of early The Ghost Inside and H20.
The band consists of five friends united by a pas- sion for music of various genres, but the main bind- ing element in their approach to music is the hard- core ethos, which has remained unchanged over the years.
SSF defines modern hardcore as a blend of fast and catchy hardcore rhythms, enriched with metalcore elements and lyrics with deep, personal messages. Their music features heavy breakdowns that literally shake listeners. These energetic and intense seg- ments are the band's hallmark. SSF aims to share positive vibes and brutal energy with everyone who enjoys the core subculture and its music.
