Psycorepaths: Extreme Metallic Hardcore From Disturbed Minds!

Emerging from the depths of the Greek underground, Psycorepaths have remained a relentless force in metallic hardcore since the early 2000s, forging a sound where raw aggression collides with crushing, groove-laden weight.

Formed in 2004 in Corfu, Greece, the band rose out of the DIY hardcore circuit, channeling a visceral intensity that fused the urgency of hardcore with the heaviness of beatdown and groove metal. Through a steady stream of underground demos and an uncompromising live presence, Psycorepaths quickly established themselves as a band in constant evolution—transitioning from their punk-rooted origins into a darker, more metallic domain. Psycorepaths 1st full-length "Αντίθετοι Στις Μόδες Σας" Re-release 07' is the re-release of Psycorepaths' first full-length demo, originally released in 2006.

A defining shift came in 2013 when the band relocated to Athens, solidifying their identity as an “extreme metallic hardcore” act. This era marked a sharper, more focused sound built on punishing breakdowns, dense rhythmic grooves, and a street-level hardcore ethos. Their 2nd full-length "Your Entropia Has Finally Arrived" (2013) served as a landmark release, followed by later works such as "The Northwest Revenant" (2020), which showcased a more refined yet equally devastating sonic approach.

Having shared stages with both international and local acts, Psycorepaths continue to thrive in the live arena, embodying an uncompromising, no-frills ethos while representing one of the heaviest edges of the Greek hardcore scene.

Psycorepaths has been a consistent collaborator & a strong bond of friendship has been with I Love Mosh since the early 2010s. They have appeared on previous releases and will be featured on Heavyweight Compilation Vol. 13.
